Aaliyah Daniel Haughton shot into fame in 1994 when she released the release of her first album Age Ain't Anything But a Numer. At the time, she was just 15 years old. the time and the album went on to become Gold. This collaboration was heavily influenced by R. Kelly, and put the singer on the map. The actress uses Aarti Man as well as Aarti Mahumdar to refer to her official name. While her initial career was dominated by minor films and television parts, she gained prominence in the mid-2000s. In addition, she has appeared on Leverage, Suits, Grey's Anatomy as well as Grey's Anatomy. Her commercials have featured major brands, such as Volvo. She is a resident of Los Angeles where she continues acting as an actress.
