Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of the singer Dionne Warswick and gospel music star Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew as a child in a household of musicians. Her first singing gig was in the choir of her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark as a young child at the age of fifteen, she was singing back vocals professionally with her mother on Chaka Khan's 1978 smash Im Every Woman. All My Love was released in 1985, and quickly became a number one single. The album sold US 3,000,000 copies and then increased to 25 million worldwide. The album brought her first of her 6 Grammy Awards. The Whitney 1987 release, featuring the songs Where Do Broken Hearts and I Wanna Dance With Somebody as hits, helped build upon the successes she'd had. The 1992 film The Bodyguard sealed her spot in the top 20 most-sellers of all-time. While the film wasn't highly appreciated and neither did her performance, the soundtrack of her Dolly Parton version I Will Always Love You was able to reach the top of both the albums and singles charts in the United States for a period of time. The album sold over 44 million copies. The same year, she got married to Bobby Brown who was a ex- New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown on March 23, 1993. At this point her use of drugs became well documented and she started using it daily in 1996.

Dana Bash also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz is an American anchorperson for the CNN reporter and political reporter for CNN. She has been the producer of shows on CNN, including Evans & Novak' Late Editionas well as Inside Politics'. Bash received a Women in Washington Power List prize by Elle magazine.
