Eva Mendes was born in America. She is an American actor, model and singer. The talent she has displayed was noticed by an agent, who convinced her of her career choice in the entertainment world. She dropped out of college after much thought about a career in entertainment. The actress was unhappy with her performance in the movie Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. In order to hone and show her acting talents her acting skills, she acted in several low-budget films. She had a challenging road, but was rewarded for her patience and sheer willpower. Her career in acting was launched when she was able to gain recognition, praise and appreciation for her part as a character in Training Day.
